AD-aRrrrrgh

Nothing's worse than having a scene completely shot then going back in to edit and realizing that you can't understand just what in the hell anyone is saying! Sometimes it's because of microphone placement, sometimes it's because of subpar equipment, sometimes it's bad accoustics...and sometime we're just fucking idiots. Whatever the reason, it's occasionally necessary to re-record muddy dialog.

It's times like this, that it's useful to have a recording booth on hand. Since most indie filmmakers don't have the foresight (or space) to have one of these built into their houses, or the resources to constantly truck their cast and crew into a recording studio at $100+ an hour, it's a good idea to have a crew that knows how to improvise. Lucky for us, our DP Greg is also pretty handy with the improv skills and managed to scare us up a cheap, uncomplicated, and surprisingly effective recording booth made out of some PVC pipe and a few moving blankets. Below, you'll find some shots of the Magic Wondershow Recording Studio, that's currently taking up approximately half of my goddamn basement. Hey, whatever it takes, right?

The shirts off our backs

While most people the world over have been more than happy spending the last week succumbing to the virulent, quad-annual pandemic known as "Olympic Fever," we at Magic Wondershow Entertainment have been sequestered in our secret underground lair, feverishly working on a cure! The result? The MWS "Beijing 2008" Tee-shirt.

Over the past two weeks, we've filled numerous orders for like minded individuals who want to let China know just where they can stick that Olympic torch!

Due to their notorious information-filtering techniques, there is now an entire generation of Chinese who lack access to the details of one of the most important events in their country's recent history, with this limited edition shirt (seriously, we've only got like 10 of them left!) you can let them know that not everyone has forgotten it. If you haven't already, show your support by ordering one of these confrontationally awesome shirts here!
